Cooper turned 1 on October 6th. Most significantly for Cooper (I think) this means he can eat more kinds of foods. Recently he tasted ribs, vanilla pudding, pizza, regular milk and of course cake and ice cream. We still have not found too many foods he doesn't like but his favorite still seems to be bananas.
Coop's height and weight at his 1 year appointment were 31-1/4 inches 25 pounds - 11 ounces.
Cooper has also started saying a few more words recently. He seems to use 'ma-ma' and 'da-da' correctly. Tonight he said 'kitty' when he saw G&G T's cat Buddy.
He's also started to let go of things and stand for a short while. Sometimes he leans between a table and the couch but he's not quite walking on his own yet.
Anxious for everybody to arrive to his first birthday party
First time eating cake and ice cream. Cooper made some funny faces each time he put a fistful of ice cream in his mouth. The cold surprised him but he learned to get past it.
