April 2008
4/1: Fletcher's first plane ride (Denver to Chicago)
4/1: I took Cooper, Fletcher, and Michelle to the airport and Cooper pointed out the tower. I explained to him that people sat up there and directed the planes which way to go. He interrupted me and said..."Do you mean the control tower?"
4/6: Grandma T was holding Fletcher and called him her "sweetest guy." Cooper said, "I thought I was your sweetest guy." Grandma said "You both are" to which Cooper responded "Only one can be the sweetest"
4/7: It really sounded like Fletcher called Grandpa T "grampa"
4/8: Grandma T was trying to put something together and it would not work. Michelle and to help and told her "Don't force it." In the background Cooper said "That's the Grandma way."
4/25: It sounded like Fletcher is saying "mama"
4/27: We tried to go to a Chinese Buffet, but they had just changed to a regular Chinese restaurant. We were wondering why they were no longer a buffet and Cooper said "I know. They don't have enough business and that's too much food to have out with not very many people here."
Fletcher's first flight
Grandpa T and Cooper. Cooper loves playing pirates. He dresses up and walks looking for treasure and monsters.
Grandpa T is a pretty good sport.
Cooper with cousins Sarah and Michaela
Last Easter we decorated our pantry doors with dozens of cut out eggs. After eating breakfast this Easter, Cooper turned to me and said "Well, it's time to decorate the doors" He has a good memory.
Haircut night. Cooper wanted a mohawk. He actually asked me to shave the sides.
Cubs / Rockies game. Cooper mostly was focused on the hot dog and cotton candy
