Day 4: Tour Beijing
Today was our last full day in Beijing. We visited the Great Wall and the Olympic Village and then enjoyed an acrobatics show in the evening. Unfortunately, it rained all day and we were outside most of the day.
This is our adoption group except for one family. Ten children will be adopted. Many families brought their children, grandparents, friends etc... Overcoming jet lag is toughest for the parents who brought little kids. The Great Wall is running along the ridgeline in the background.
We stopped by the Olympic Village but did not stay long due to the rain. Bird's Nest.
Adjacent to the Bird's Nest is a building designed to look like the Olympic flame.
We went to a Chinese acrobat show in the evening. Pretty amazing.
Tomorrow we fly to Zhengzhou. The day after that I meet Sawyer.
