Tess fell off the monkey bars at school and broke her left leg. She has a steep spiral fracture of her tibia and she also broke her fibula. That bend is her shin.
Tess has to have her leg surgically repaired. She will have two rods inserted in her tibia. They will be removed in 9-12 months.
Very excited for a pink glitter cast.
She will be in a wheelchair and can't put any weight on her leg for at least one month.
Tess turned seven today. For the next month and a half Tess and Nash are the same age.
It is hard to imagine that someday Tess won't like the color pink, glitter, or unicorns.
