Day 6: Nafplion Area
Mycenae, Epidaurus, and Tolo Beach
Mycenae is an archeologic site near Nafplion, Greece. This was a major center of Greek civilization from ~1,600 BC to ~1,100 BC.

Ancient Theater of Epidaurus
This ruin was a highlight of our trip. It was built in the 4th century BC. It is in incredible shape and has amazing acoustics. The theater seats 14,000.
Tolo Beach
We spent the late afternoon at Tolo Beach near Nafplion. This is the Argolic Gulf of the Aegean Sea. The younger kids were surprised at how salty sea water was.
