Ice Cream Dessert Yield: 9 x 13 pan Ingredients 2-1/2 cups Ritz Cracker crumbs 1/4 cup melted butter 3 T sugar 2 small boxes vanilla instant pudding 1-1/2 cup milk 1 quart softened vanilla ice cream 2 packages Dream Whip* Directions Combine the following Ritz Cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Put all but 3/4 cup in the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Beat pudding and milk until very thick. Add 1 quart softened vanilla ice cream. Beat until thick again. Pour pudding mixture on top of crumbs Beat 2 packages Dream Whip for top layer (it is ready when it is about the consistency of shaving cream). Spread over the top of the pudding mixture. Sprinkle the rest of the cracker crumbs on top. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Notes * You can substitute Cool Whip if you don’t have Dream Whip, but I think the Dream Whip is better |
