Day 5: Beijing to Guangzhou
We said goodbye to our tour guide George and the rest of our travel group today and traveled to Guangzhou via airplane. Most of our travel group is heading to Zhengzhou to get their children. Tess is near Guangzhou. We will stay in Guangzhou for the rest of our trip until we fly out of Hong Kong. We'll meet up with our travel group when they join us in Guangzhou in about one week. Tomorrow we get Tess!
Saying goodbye to George in Beijing
We arrived in Guangzhou around 2 pm. The weather is hot and really humid. We were met by our guide, Jason, at the airport.

population just under 20 million. It is not far from Hong Kong.
We are staying at the China Hotel (Marriott).
Yuexiu Park is adjacent to the hotel. We walked there for a little while but the humidity got the best of us and we did not stay long.
