Day 20: Colosseum, Roman Forum
Vatican Museum, St. Peter's Square
and Basilica
We took two tours today. The first was to the Colosseum and Roman Forum and the second was to the Vatican.

Sawyer got to St. Peter's Square, took it all in, and quietly said "I really like it here."
St. Peter's Basilica
Absolutely gorgeous. This is the most beautiful indoor space we have ever experienced. Everyone thought it was even more impressive than the Sistine Chapel (no pictures allowed).
Unfortunately, La Pietà was not on display as they are preparing it for the Jubilee of 2025.
Fletcher told us that the Swiss Guard disarms intruders by juggling and telling jokes. Based on their silly outfits that might be true.
