Grandma and Grandpa's dog King died this week. At dinner, Cooper turned to Grandma T out of the blue and said "Grandma, I'm sorry King died....but he was kind of stinky when he was alive" Cooper wanted to open up a toy that I had gotten as a diversion for our trip to Illinois. We never opened it on the trip and he found it in a bag at G&G's. He asked if he could open it and Grandma T told him that Mom might not want him to open it. He said "How about if we open it and I play with it and then if she says no we can put it back in the box?" Cooper wanted to do something and Grandpa T said that mom wouldn't want him to do that. He said "That's ok...she's not here" Cooper wanted Grandpa T to go down to his room and sit with him. Grandpa wanted to stay out in the family room. Cooper said "Come on Grandpa....you've gotta keep your eye on me." Cooper was standing by Grandpa T with a candy wrapper in his hand and he said he wanted some candy. Grandpa said "No...it's too early." Cooper said "I already had one." Grandpa asked him if Grandma gave it to him. He said no. Then Grandpa said that Mom wouldn't be happy about you eating candy especially this early in the morning. Cooper then said "Let's not tell her. Cause you'll be in big trouble and Grandma will be in big trouble, and I'll be in big trouble. Mommy gets really excited about stuff like this!" Cooper saw a long stretch limo. He looked at it and said to Michelle "They must have a really long garage to fit that in" Cooper spent about a week in Illinois without Mom and Dad. He was a little sneaky during the week as the notes above indicate. The interesting thing is that Cooper always told Mom and Dad he did each of the things above about 1-3 days after they occured.
