Greece, Turkey, and Italy Family Trip
We took a family vacation to Greece, Turkey, and Italy. The trip was in three parts.
First, we rented a car and spent time in Athens and throughout the Peloponnese Penisula. Next, we went on a nine-day cruise to Turkey and Greek Islands. Finally, we spent a week in Italy in Florence, Rome, and Pompeii.

Days 1 and 2: Denver to Rome (June 19 and 20)

Day 5: Patras to Nafplion (Holy Church of St. Andrew, Olympia, Ancient Sparta)
Day 6: Nafplion Area (Mycenae, Epidaurus, and Tolo Beach)
Day 7: Corinth Acropolis / Start Cruise from Piraeus
Day 9: Istanbul (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar)
Day 10: Istanbul (Early departure)
Day 11: Kusadasi and Ephesus, Turkey
Day 16: Athens to Florence. Michelangelo's David
Day 17: Duomo (climb dome) and Uffizi Museum
Day 18: Florence to Rome. Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and more
Day 19: Church and Down Day in Rome
Day 20: Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican Museum and St. Peter's Square and Basilica
Day 21: Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius
Day 22: Pantheon, Many Churches, St. Peter's Dome, and Borghese Gallery
